I recommend the Alter Years brand. I made all my bodices for Pennsic this
year from the PAY005 Easy Renaissance Bodice - Front-Laced pattern.

Good Ladies of the Middle Bridge,
I am looking for a pattern for a bodice.
My wife has expressed an interest in having one for her new
outfit for crystal ball 21.
I offered to try and find a link with a pattern and to obtain the
materials
and do the "cut out" for her to speed things along.
I have found about 40 places that sell corsets and bodices, but no
patterns.
I feel a bit red faced, but could you help me out with an authentic
pattern link and, if possible, construction advice?
I refuse to be embarrassed, because this is for my lady love, whom I have
had the privilege of being married to for 21 years.
