Cousin, Cousine (WAS: Re: [Mid] 938 years later - "Battle of Hastings")

Hail, and well met indeed, /gentille cousine/! Fair day to you!

I'm sure there are probably many, many of us out here in cyberia who
share such relationship after all, but who may be as yet unaware of
same, or of their own lineage and origins. It could be fun though to
someday attempt to divine just how many of us there are /in the SCA/ in
general (or even just within the boundaries of our own Kingdom, or
Region - Sissyphian task enough! - either as descendant of these men, or
of other historical or high-born figures). I venture to guess that this
might indeed prove to be a large number, no matter the descendants'
current station in life.
