Yep, no problem...

Time-Life books makes a Man and Myth series with each book covering a
different region. There is a Viking & German book, and a Slavic one between
those two you should find everything you need. I occasionally see a few of
them at used booksellers, both SCA merchants and modern ones. ISBN numbers
are 0-7054-3533-4 for the Viking and German and 0-7054-3613-6 for the Slavic
one. You might try Ebay, Amazon, or one of the online used booksellers like
Alibris.com or bookfinder.com If ya lived close enough I would just say
come on over and read them.

Can anyone recommend a good book on pre-Dark Age and Dark Age mythologies of 
the Germanic tribes (Goth, Vandals, Ostrogoths, Visigoths etc.)?  One that 
isn't all new age fluffy bunny stuff but based on actual scholarship?  (Yes, 
I know Tolkien's stuff.... but I'd like to learn more about the cultures he 
studied!)
