Springfield, Ohio - AKA Marche of Havneholde
(also my hometown, so I get my fix regularly)

Schuler's Bakery - Whole Wheat Doughnuts
They are unbelievable. It's their siganture item. They make more of
them a day than any other flavor sometimes 4 times as many, even
including the plain yeast glazed.

They are a dark, crunchy heavy glazed cake doughnut that is unlike any
cake doughnut you've ever had as it is light almost delicate with lots
of cinnamon mixed through, one bite they nearly crumble. Awesome.
Almost everyone has to be talked into eating the first one, they are
also usually so surprised, some even ask "this is WHOLE WHEAT?", as
they certainly don't taste like you'd think. If you come to Havenholde
events I usually can be found when I arrive handing out fresh samples
of this hometown specialty. They'll last maybe a week if you store them
in tupperware, and are just about as good day old as fresh.

Alexis and I blessed a Pelican meeting a few years back with several
boxes once in Columbus, and some have made it to Pennsic.

(If anyone wants directions, let me know, you have to nearly drive by
it on 70 on the way to Columbus Ohio... it's about a ten minute round
trip side jaunt. VERY easy directions.)

Griz
Fat chics never lead you wrong on food - never.
