[Mid] Second Call: Requesting Performers at Feast of Swine and Roses

To the Known Worlde and people of the Kingdom of the Middle, I send greetings.

I am Khalil ibn Yusuf al-Balansi, Deputy Minister of Arts and Sciences for the Barony of White Waters. As is noted in the Midrealm calendar, our annual Feast of Swine and Roses looms on the horizon for the weekend of July 8-10. Along with the fighting and practices going on, we will be having classes, Arts and Sciences display space, annual fashion show, the Village of Upton Paggles will be in attendance, and, of course, a feast will be prepared. All this will be under the watchful eyes of Their Royal Majesties, Alaric and Noelle. While I do encourage all people to attend, we have a request to make for something special this year, which is why I write you.

Not only do we wish to display the many crafts and makings of our glorious Kingdom, we would also like to extend a request for those in the arts of entertainment to come and entertain as well. So often performers and entertainers seem to be shoved off to bardic circles or the chance get-together of a couple performers at an event. We would much appreciate the presence of all types of performance, including but NOT limited to: singers, jugglers, thespians, musicians, and dancers. Please come and share your talents and training.

Specifically, we are looking for a period of two to three hours at most after the court and feast for several performances. No individual or single group should feel the need to cover this entire time. Short segments would indeed suffice, with the length of time to be determined by the number of performers wishing to participate. Also, our Chatelaine, Lady Halla, has informed me that there may be open space around during the day as well for performers to wander and perform as they see fit, again to display their prowess.
