  There are four St. Columbas listed. The first is
the of whom we're speaking, feast day June 9th, two
female saints with feastdays on Nov. 13, and Sept 17,
and another male on Sept 17th as well. None of them
are listed as a patron saint of anything in their
bios.

  It is somewhat doubtful Columba would be of Scotland
as he was born and did most of his work in Ireland.
It was only in the very later years that he moved to
Iona of the coast of Scotland and founded his (at that
time) very famous monestary. Course then again,
Patrick was born in England and he's the Patron saint
of Ireland, so who knows. :)
  St. Columba is also known as Colm, Colum, and
Columcille.
