[Mid] Cynnabar's Grande Tourney

Good morning!

For those of you who happen to be in Southeastern Michigan this weekend, or
are looking for an event to attend, the Barony of Cynnabar will be hosting
their third annual Grande Tournament! It will be held this Saturday,
January 12th in Saline, Michigan at the Washtenaw Farm Council. You can

There will be plenty of fighting and tournament to enter for everyone, both
heavy and rapier, with prizes!

Armor inspections will start around 9 am with Tournaments kicking off at
around 11am.

Heavy Tourney Info:
- The Barony of Cynnabar will be hosting a whole day fighting with multiple
tournaments and multiple lists available. Tournaments Include; a weighted
pool tourney; where the entrants will be placed into separate pools
dependant on wins and losses.
To end the day, Cynnabar will also be running a traditional double
elimination tourney.

Fencing Tourney Info:
- Novice Tourney (format to be determined based on how many people enter)
- A Pool Tourney with a double elimination format within the pool. If the
fencer can they have to use a different style in each pool that they are in.
- Single Sword Tournament (round robin format)

Cross-over Tourney
- This tourney will require each participant to be authorized in both heavy
and rapier forms. A Round Robin list will be run in both forms and the
individual with the greatest win total over both forms will be the Victor.
Due to time restrictions the list will be limited to 8 people.

Other tournaments may take place during the day as time and numbers permit.
