The County has made improvements to our Val Day Site!! We are reallocating the use of space at the site. Please let me know if you have any questions by contacting me directly. In Service – Baroness Catarina – Seneschal for the Canton of Three Hills.
Fight Hall Change- Heavy: Heavy will be in the usual Hazel Gray Hall and the fighting list area has been enlarged; there is also much more space for spectators. The room now has baffling and soundproofing, so it will be more comfortable for fighters and spectators alike.
Fencing: will now be in the Gym at the front of the building and Fencers will have increased list space from previous years; also with room for spectators & chairs.
Spectators/Day Camps: There will be increased floor space for chairs & rugs (i.e.: very small day camps) in the Hazel Gray Hall. Please use only the space that you actually need, and we are again asking that people refrain from bringing in large tables, canopies, and extra gear. There will be some limited room for chairs, rugs and spectators in the Gym by the Fencing, also (think compact use of space). Banners are allowed in all parts of the site, but please be aware that nothing can be hung from any walls, please bring banner stands.
Bleachers: There are no longer any bleacher style seats in Hazel Gray Hall, please bring your chairs & rugs for your own seating.
Bathrooms: all bathrooms have been enlarged and improved!!! Clean and New!
Merchant Hall: has been refurbished and decorated……your shopping experience will be pleasant; and there will still be a huge & varied selection of vendors.
Tavern: The site has improved the kitchen and the tavern will be larger than in the past. Menu will include vegetarian and homemade choices. Please see website for complete Menu.
