Kasia did an outstanding job of organizing entertainment at 12th Night
yesterday. There was music and story all day long (special nod to Angus, who
did yeoman work up on stage).
Our challenge on "Magic of the Season" drew three entries: a beautiful song
by Kasia, set to an ancient melody; a splendid poem from Alehandrei; and a
great rendition of Auld Lang Syne by Angus, set to a wholly unexpected tune
(in fact, the original tune Burns intended it to be sung to). We asked all
three to reprise their performances immediately before Court, to great
acclaim. We'll post the original pieces on our bardic challenge page as soon
as we have them.
We had a wonderful time.
