For some groups, that amount could be the difference between life and death of a small group with very little in the way is monetary assets. Our group will be able to manage this, fortunately, but in the nearly 35 years I have been a member of my shire, we have seen our share of financial up and down cycles, and there were times in our past where having to come up with that kind of cash could quite literally have killed our group.
