SCA-Middle Digest FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)
- What is a digest?
- A digest is an extension of the mailing list
- How does it work?
- You subscribe to the digest.
- Every time you send a message to the list, it is sent to everyone on the list.
- Every time someone on the list sends a message to the list, it is sent to an archive.
- When the archive reaches about 30 Kbytes, it is compiled into one long message and sent to all digest subscribers. You will receive it then.
- You can unsubscribe anytime you wish.
- How do I subscribe?
- Simply send the word subscribe to sca-middle-digest-request@midrealm.org.
- How do I reply to seperate messages?
- To reply to a message found on the digest, 'cut' the contents of the message that you wish to quote, 'paste' it in a message to sca-middle@midrealm.org, and add your comments.
NOTE: Make sure you do NOT reply directly to the From: field on the digest! Misdirected replies will be silently deleted.
- Where do I send messages?
- You still send messages to sca-middle@midrealm.org.
- How do I unsubscribe?
- Just send the word unsubscribe to sca-middle-digest-request@midrealm.org.
