Welcome to the Barony of the Middle Marches!

Baron Lamorak and Baroness Isabeau

Welcome to the lands of the Barony Middle Marches, held in fief for the Dragon King by the most noble Baron Lamorak of Dunsinane and his lovely lady-wife Baroness Isabeau de Forbeis.

These lands currently include three cantons, two shires and one marche. They are: Cantons - Ath Dreagain, Border Keep and Gleann Iaruinn; Shires - Dernehealde and Mugmort; Marche - Marche of Tirnewydd.

The Barony Middle Marches is perhaps the largest and possibly oldest Barony in the Middle Kingdom, as can be seen by the efforts of the Kingdom's Cartographer. It is certainly the largest in the Oaken Region.

Welcome, friends!

Our Baron and Baroness welcome you to their fair lands and ask that you join them and all the fair and talented citizens of the Barony for archery, dancing, fighting (Heavy and Light), feasting, frolicking and singing.

Important note from our Baron & Baroness

Our gracious Baroness and Baron have a favor to ask of each and every member of this wonderful Barony.

As We can not be at every Baronial group meeting, it falls to you, Our family and friends, to help us recognize those worthy gentles whose actions in service, arts and martial activites deserve recognition. To this end, We ask that you all take a moment, look around and see who in your group has gone unrecognized by Us and recommend them for an award.

Also, please note that there are now two new Baronial awards, created by Us. They are Titan of the Marche and Pillar of the Marche. The Titan is for those gentles who have proven themselves in the various fighting forms, while the Pillar is for those gentles who have given of themselves in service to the Barony and in the arts.

Recommend someone for a Baronial Award.
