Weaving Diagram C

Card 1 thru 18 rotates 4 quarter turns forward then 4 quarter turns backward

star pattern

The color arrangement of this weave is the same as in Threading Diagram B, but the card threading was changed. Instead of S threading the first nine cards and Z threading the last nine, the threading alternated S-Z. Notice how dramatic the weave was changed. Especially note how straight the lines are on either side of the design. Alternating card threading will give you straighter lines and threading the cards so that the twist is in the direction of the diagonal will create smoother diagonals. Special effects can be created by twining against the diagonal.
