MK MoY Letters to the PALE

March 2006

Greetings unto the Noble People of the Midrealm from your Minister of Youth,

We have been very busy lately. In December we made another addition to our MOY team. THL Elizabeth de Nevell is our new Midlands Regional MOY Deputy. She is full of ideas and energy and completes a wonderful team of people dedicated to making the SCA a more “Youth Friendly” place.

We have had seven Pages elevate from Junior Page to Senior Page. Please congratulate them and encourage them and their fellow students to continue on their quest for knowledge.

We would like to thank the Shire of Blackhawk for donating baldrics for our Pages. If you would like to help the youth office we always need volunteers to teach youth classes and mentor our youth. If you are not able to teach you can still help us by donating supplies. Below are a few things we need:

- Stamps
- Printer paper
- Black and color ink cartridges (complete list on KMOY webpage)
- Purple fabric to create baldrics for our Page School students to wear. The purple fabric
should be similar to the purple of our MOY badge.
- White and gold bias tape.
- Purple, white, and gold thread.
- Machine embroidery thread in green, yellow, white, and red.
- Fabric stabilizer for machine embroidery.
- People willing to sew.
- People with embroidery machines (preferably HUS or a design program).
