October 2007 Greetings to Parents and Children of the Midrealm As incoming MOY I would first like to thank Duchesse Sabine for her incredible efforts on behalf of our children. Her work to expand Page School and recognize the efforts of our youth, had led to a great increase in students who participate. Supporting her work has been the wonderful efforts of THL Tyzes Sofia, Page School Dean and Lady Katerina Mahler, registrar who have made Page School accreditation, activities, and paper work a smooth process. I am Lady Anthoinette Martel and I reside in Northwoods, Pentamere. Children are both my vocation and my advocation, in the mundane world I teach eight through ten year olds. During my tenure as MOY, I would like to assist Regional, Local, and especially Youth Pointe coordinators in making Youth Pointe activities a happy and successful experience for both youth and the coordinators. I love to share activities (successes and the not so successful), to assist with the updated policies and requirements, and to encourage inclusion of Youth activities at events. I ask your indulgence as I become comfortable in my new position. If I do not know an answer, I will find it. If I do not remember a name, I will learn it. My travel is somewhat restricted in the fall months due to the mundane activities of my two teens, but November opens weekends to SCA events. I am always looking for activities that work well for our children and welcome new ideas. I am keeping a file of successful event activities that is open to anyone interested. Yours in Service to our Youth
