Coursing of the Hounds
All hound owners are required to show written proof of hound vaccinations from their Vet to the Houndmistress-in-charge.
They will also be required to pick up after their hounds while on site and properly dispose of hound waste.
All hounds must be leashed and attended at all times.
Please bring collar or harness with I.D. tags, leash, muzzle, potty bags, food and water for your hound for the day.
Hounds should not be fed the morning of the course and watered only sparingly to prevent bloat. Food should be withheld for at least one hour after the course is completed.
Coursing will happen as long as the weather is clear and dry.
All dogs are welcome to come over and check out the coursing and try it if their human can show proof of rabies vaccination and ability to come when called by their human.
Any dogs that causes a problem will be asked to leave the coursing area.
Severe/violent disruptions caused by a dog can lead to the dog and human being asked to leave the site, this is up to the discretion of the Event Steward and Houndmaster.
Dogs are allowed outside on the site grounds, but only service dogs are allowed inside the main building where the kitchen, feast hall, and royalty room are.
