  Description: Come learn how to make, repair, and maintain armor and related gear. Please call ahead, or email, Alan to let him know who is showing up.

  Description: Recorder (and other instruments) consort per forming a variety of period music, including songs, dance tunes, madrigals,and more. New players are very welcome. Call ahead to verify meeting date and time (arrangements are possibly being made that might alter the rehearsal time).

  Description: Discussion group for those producing poetry or prose.

Wednesday

  Description: Learn and practice S.C.A.-style armored, and fencing combat. All are welcome to attend, but those wishing to participate must be properly equipped. (Contact one of the marshals for directions or for information about equipment.)

  Mynnydd Seren Schedule of Fencing Classes

  Some catching up is possible, but new fencers will do best joining us on the first Wednesday of the month. Classes 1-4 and 5-8 run simultaneously, with all eight happening every month.

  • First week of the month Class One: Stance, Guard 1, and Footwork 1
  • Second week of the month Class Two: Voids, Parries, Guards 2
  • Third week of the month Class Three: Thrust and Lunge
  • Fourth week of the month Class Four: Disengage
  
  
  • First week of the month Class Five: Footwork 2: Slope steps, rear foot movement
  • Second week of the month Class Six: Parries, Guards 3: Reverse edge parries and guards
  • Third week of the month Class Seven: Thrust and Lunge 2: Integrating parry and counter, single time.
  • Fourth week of the month Class Eight: Advanced attacks: Fight openers, feints.

Thursday or Friday
Currently, there are no regularly scheduled activities.

Saturday
No regularly scheduled activities, though there are often events to attend.
