worth 1 point - Dagger/Buckler (Dagger is thrust only)

Knight
worth 3 points - Sword with Shield or Spear with Buckler

Bishop
worth 4 points - Single Axe with shield or Single Mace with Shield

Rook
worth 5 points - Polearm or Florentine

King
worth 6 points - Sword with Shield or Two hand weapon (Greatsword, Greataxe, Polearm, Spear)

Queen
worth 9 points - any weapon authorized for SCA tourneys

Tourney Rules
Chess Tourney is round robin, Swiss Six format
You must fight all forms (default to single if you do not have authorization, but you still are "worth" the points of the chess piece you are.
Bouts are 2-3 passes, double kills both take a loss for that pass. You are not required to match forms.

Winner gets the points of their opponent (ie, If you are a King and win against a Pawn, you get 1 point, however if you are the pawn and win against a King you get 5 points)

Winner records points after bout.

Pawn
worth 1 point - Dagger only

Knight
worth 2 points - Single only

Bishop
worth 3 points - Dagger and Parry Device

Rook
worth 4 points - Sword and Parry Device

King
worth 5 points - Sword and Dagger

Queen
worth 10 points - Case

If possible bring it to the list table for "Show and Tell" or let us know where it's displayed indoors.
Performance arts are limited to 2 minutes maximum and will be done on the list field.
Then we fight!

Everyone fights as every sort of "piece". Points are awarded based on the difference in teh two piece points.
