Welcome to The Shire of Oakford. We are a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. serving Ottawa, Sandusky, Erie and Huron Counties in Ohio. The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th-century European history. Oakford is part of the Middle Kingdom. In the area known as the Oaken region.

We cordially invite you to join us in our adventures in exploring these current middle ages. Our shire meetings are held regulary on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month at St. Stephen United Church of Christ 905 East Perkins Avenue Sandusky, Oh. Meetings begin promptly at 7:OO p.m. A donation of a canned good would be welcomed as a freewill offering to help support their community food pantry.
