Volunteering Opportunities

The following areas are in need of volunteers.  Please set aside some of your time to help make Border War run smoothly. 

Chirurgeons and waterbearers

Do you like watching the battles up close but not actually put on armor?   Then waterbearing is for you.   Contact for information.

Set up crew

We are always in need of a few extra hands the Friday of the event to get things like list areas, pavilions, and such set up. Contact for ways to help get things started.

Troll

Troll is looking for folks to help with all shifts, but escpecially Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. If you are interested in sitting a shift at troll (it's a great way to meet people) contact for available shifts.

Retainers

If you would like to take a turn retaining for Their Majesties or Their Highnesses, please contact .

Courtesy Patrol

Courtesy Patrol is in need of people to make the rounds to make sure things are "in order". Again, this is another great opportunity to meet people. If you are interested in taking a turn walking security, contact for available shifts.

Clean up crew

We are looking for many hands to make light work when taking out the the trash and tearing down the stuff that was put up. We are in need of people with trucks or open trailers that can haul full barrels of trash to the main dumpster as well as people to go with these vehicles to gather the barells and check over campsites.
