The Shire of Rivenvale is the official SCA group for counties Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana in Ohio. We are part of the Middle Kingdom. We were recognized at Midrealm Court at Pennsic 33 (August 2004) and became an official shire. We are a varied group that enjoys fighting, dancing, arts and sciences activities, and lots of socializing. | |

Our "Known World" consists of 18 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group. |
