First Meeting

By now you've probably looked over the information on the SCA and Shire of Rokkehealden Information portion of the shire's website or you've read the same information via the Shire of Rokkehealden's New Member Packet. You've determined you're ready to get involved and you'd like to go to your first meeting.

Here are a few points to keep in mind:

• Garb is optional for shire meetings.
• Before attending your first meeting, verify that the schedule you have is correct. You can email the Chatelaine to verify the meeting schedule.
• Jump in and introduce yourself. Talk to the shire members you see at the meeting. Tell them you're new and just getting started.
• If you are interested in a specific activity, ask to talk to someone in the shire who may be involved in that activity. For example, if you're interested in archery, ask who the Archery Marshal is, if you're interested in calligraphy, ask who is a scribe, etc.
