The focus of this event is scribal networking, skill improvement and fun. Anyone is welcome regardless of skill level or interest.
Site Opens: 9:00 am and Closes: 6:00 pm
Site Fee: Pre-reg. $4.00 per person (must be in hand on or before Dec. 8, 2006). At the door: $5.00 per person.

Directions: Note: This does not map quest. The directions were provided by the City of Bloomington. Take your best route into the area and then follow the directions listed.
From Bloomington: Take I-39 North from
Bloomington to the Lake Bloomington Exit (exit#8). Turn right and drive east 3.6
miles to the stop sign at Green Gables. Turn left and go 1/4 mile to Davis
Lodge Road. Turn right onto Davis Lodge Road. The lodge is the
second structure (lake side).
From Peoria: Take I-74 east to I-55
bypass (north) around Normal to I-39 north. Go 8 miles to Lake Bloomington Exit
(exit#8). Turn right and drive east 3.6 miles to the stop sign at Green Gables.
Turn left and go 1/4 mile to Davis Lodge Road. Turn right onto Davis Lodge
Road. The lodge is the second structure (lake side)
From Chicago:
Take I-55 south to the Lexington exit (exit #178).
Turn right on County Road #8. Go west about 8 miles to Davis Lodge Road.
Turn left onto Davis Lodge Road, second structure (lake side),
From Rockford: Take I-39 south to the Lake Bloomington exit (exit#8). Turn left and go 3.6 miles east to the stop sign at Green Gables. Turn left and go 1/4 mile to Davis Lodge Road. Turn right, second sturcture (lake side).

Black-as-ink Coffee and Properly-tempered Tea will be available in the morning.
Lunch will be provided by the Scolairi cooks and tea with yummy desserts provided by the Rokkehealden Scriptorium. No cost for a yummy scribal type lunch it’s included in the site fee.

The site is bone dry. No day camps will be allowed.
In the spirit of this event, we are holding all classes in an open area. This is being done to encourage networking and communication among the scribes. Some of the classes will be structured. Some will be open forum so scribes can feel free to go up to teachers or other scribes and say "How'd ya do that?"
