The spring planting is finished and it is time to celebrate with a grand faire to usher in the summer. You are cordially invited to an Elizabethan Faire to be hosted by the Marche of Tirnewydd in the Barony of Middle Marches. This event shall be held on June 6th AS XLIV (2009), and shall consist of grand tournaments in heavy weapons, rapier, archery, and the arts & sciences. Additionally, there shall be numerous Elizabethan-themed courses of instruction, games, children's activities, and much dancing and merriment! We will be doing something different by forgoing the obligatory feast. We welcome you to come join us in a grand Elizabethan picnic. Gentles who purchase feast tickets will receive a small basket (which you get to keep!) and will be able to partake in a delicious menu of Elizabethan delights.
