A True Simple Day

This site is discreetly damp.

Site opens at 4:30 p.m. Friday and will close 10:30 a.m. Sunday

Last chance to get authorized before War! Come fight, come sing, come have a simple weekend.

Site fee: $7. $3 non-member surcharge applies. 
Children 12 and under free. 
Maximum family charge: $30 for site fees

Camping Fee: $6.00 per tent per night.
This is the base price the park charges.

Merchants will have to provide their own tables and sun shades.
Any merchant pavilions left up overnight will be charged a tent fee.

In honor of a Simple Day, a Simple feast —hot weather and fighter- friendly! —
will be available Saturday evening. More to come later.

NOTICE: We have changed location inside the park.

Directions:
Take your best route to I-65, south of Indianapolis, exit 76B Taylorsville.
Go north on Hwy. 31 to 3rd stop light.
Turn left. 
Continue into Camp Atterbury, and note that the speed limit is rigorously enforced.
Turn right at School House Road. 
The intersection is almost exactly three miles, and north (right) will be the only turn available.
There is a flasher there, but it only points north and south. 
Look for a sign at the Intersection.
Turn right at North St. (towards the park office).

Feast

On the table:
3 kinds of cheese, orange and lemon marinated olives & their oil for dipping (thyme, rosemary, lemon/orange juice & zest, garlic, oilve oil, pepper), bread, apples and oranges.

Soup: Pasta Fagiole (white beans, olive oil, onion, garlic, veggie stock, rosemary, orzo, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and parsley)

With the Pig:
Peach & Sweet Pepper Chutney (cider vinegar, sugar, water, red pepper, oinion, ginger, cinnamon, mustard seed, and peaches) and Green Beans w/Caramelized Red Onions (green beans, veggie broth, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, red oinions, olive oil, salt & pepper).

Dessert:
Orange and lemon jellos (probably from a package) with candied fruit rinds (orange and lemon rinds, honey, water, sugar).
