Sternfeld Sewing and Cooking Day
When: January 2nd, 9 a.m. until sometime in the late afternoon, early evening.

Who: everyone in Sternfeld and surrounding groups who would like to come play.
Ok, in more detailed terms. We are having a day of sewing and cooking at my school. It has a full home ec lab that the cooking group would like to use to play with some of their recipes. I believe that there are 6-7 full kitchens. Please bring your own cooking gear, towels, and dishcloths. I'll also have my two classrooms and the home ec sewing room that we can use so that we can have large table areas to cut out fabric and sew. There are a few basic sewing machines that we can use if you don't have one. However, bringing your sewing machine, if you have one, it is a better bet to make sure we have enough to go around and that it won't glitch on you since the ones at school are all student models that see heavy use.
Those of us in the costumers group are willing to provide help to any members who need to learn how to make/modify projects. We won't do it for you, but we'll teach you. If you're planning on working on something that you're totally new to, please ask for help in advance with picking out fabric and so that we can advise you on what to bring.
Johann will add details for the cooks. So, please direct questions about the day's cooking activities to him.
Everyone who participates will be responsible for cleaning up their own area to at least the level of cleanliness it was in when they found it when they leave for the day and, since we have an excellent janitor, that will be very clean. Since we're not paying for the site and I'm responsible for making sure it's back like it was when we entered, please take the time to help do that.
There is a front doorbell to the right of the door. Please ring that when you get to the site or call me, 765-860-2410, and I'll let you in the door.
If there are any other A&S groups that would like to hold an activity that day, please contact me and I'll see if we have room.
