Our Activities

Events -- The Barony puts on a few large events each year, with varying themes and topics. These events draw crowds from across the Midrealm. We also have smaller local events a few times a year.

Demonstrations -- The Barony of Sternfeld frequently does demonstrations of medieval combat, arts, and sciences for school and other various groups. Details on what we can do located here.

Archery -- Let the arrows of war fly! Our archery group meets every Wednesday to shoot and socialize!

Bardic -- We have multiple opportunities for people who like to participate in the Bardic arts to learn and perform!

Business Meeting -- We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month to plan events, activities, and take care of Baronial business.

Cooks Guild -- The cooks meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month to talk, experiment with recipes, etc.

Costuming -- The Gilded Costumers meet 1st Thursday of the month to talk about projects, give and receive advice, and listen to talks about specific areas.

Dance -- There is a bimonthly English Country Dance night on the second Thursday of the month on alternating months (February, April, June, August, October, December).

Dead Languages -- Those interested in the study of dead languages meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Equestrian Practice -- Those interested in period horse related activities, including games meet on the First Sunday of each month. See schedule.

Fighter Practice -- We meet every Tuesday for Heavy and Rapier fighting practice. Many others come to socialize and work on hand projects. Come visit and get to know other Sternfelders!

Reading -- There is an Open House/Reading Night each Wednesday for those who like to look through books about topics and history of the period we study.

Silvermithing -- Our resident Silversmith, Lord Xenon, teaches Silversmithing to interested individuals as needed!

Youth Fighting -- The Youth Combat (both Heavy and Rapier) usually meets on the 4th Sunday of the month. Details are posted to the Sternfeld email list.
