The Family Reunion, at the Siege of Talonval, includes two seperate scenarios.
The first will be a Resurrection battle that will include most of the elements of a week of Pennsic battles. You will be crossing bridges, fighting broken fields and attacking/defending keeps. All of this for your amusement, starting as close to 11am as possible.
The second scenario will be similar, with a few tweaks. This will be a capture the flag type scenario that will end when one team successfully plants their flag. We will run this one untill you beg us to stop..
Marshal-in-Charge: Azriel le Fey
"Bear Pit Winner holds the field (probably three pools) against all comers. After three wins in a row, two challengers may take on the, "bear". They must then fight to earn the spot. (each still gets a point if they kill the bear) Pentemere Regional Champion Tourney Championship tourney for all Pentemere rapier fighters. Bring your best style. Double Elimination (die twice, and you're out) Talonvale's, "Epic Adventure" Championship Tourney Some might remember this from a few years ago, and it's back due to popular demand. Choose your own adventure by fighting a Two Headed Dragon, "Bad" Guys, Crossing a bridge by paying a Troll, and rescuing the Damsel in Dis-Dress! So here's the rules for your quest if you choose to risk your LIFE for glory and become Rapier Champion of Talonvale

Her Majesty Amalie's Contest of Axes
It shall soon be known of the love and skill at axes Her Majesty Amalie possesses and Her wish to share the joy of the range with Her people of the Midrealm. There shall, whenever possible, be thrown weapons at each event that Her Majesty attends during Her reign.
The target for Her Majesty's Contest of Axes shall be a circle of 12" with a centered circle of 4".
The outer circle shall be white and the inner circle shall be red.
The 12" circle will be scored as three points for an ax stick in that scoring ring.
The 4" circle will be scored as five points for an ax stick in that scoring ring.
Inside the 4" circle at the center shall be a green dot of 1/2" in size. This will be used to break tied scores. Should the scores be equal but one person has stuck the green dot more often than the other, the tie goes in favor of the thrower with more hits on the dot.
Each contestant shall throw from a distance at least 10 feet, or up to six of their paces from the target.
Each contestant will make six throws at the target and will be allowed to retrieve and score any weapon that sticks.
Minimum age for contestants is six years old with a parent at the range any time the child is participating in the contest. Should a child wish to participate in the contest they will need to attend an offered Children's thrown weapons class at the event.
All Society and Middle Kingdom Thrown weapons rules will be followed during these contests.
