In keeping the the theme of Fables in the Woods, Youth Pointe will offer fables and activities from three cultures of our Knowne World.  First the Vikings with the story of Thors' Hammer and the creation of a Viking necklace.

Next will be the Fable of Ruba and the Stork from Persia.  We will follow with Persian "dress up".  Each child will help create headwear of the Persian culture.

Finally will be Aesop, an ancient Greek storyteller, whose fables were illustrated in the Bayeaux Tapestry and printed in the 16th century.  We will read the Fox and the Crow (also called the Fox and the Cheese). Puppets and a puppet show are planned to follow up the story.

Hours at youth pointe will be 11:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.
