The Incipient Canton of Templemede is based in the modern world in the counties of Barry and Calhoun in southwest Michigan. The Incipient Canton of Templemede is part of the Barony of Andelcrag in the Middle Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a 501c3 non-profit organization which promotes the study of the history and cultures of pre-17th century Europe and those cultures with which it had contact.
