Future plans for your group? We hope to be able to expand our numbers in the near future. Havoc in Hastings actually helped us with recruitment this year, and we gained several interested families. Within the next couple of years we hope to take over Havoc in Hastings completely from Three Walls, although it is a large event, we have fun putting it on. 8. In your honest, objective opinion, what is good about your group? Not so good? What problems are you as a seneschal noticing? How might these be remedied? I think we have a good service-oriented group. Most of us are still friends with each other, and we try to take that into account first and formost. However, we do have some personality conflicts mostly by a member who feels one other member is being pushy and bossy because they are asking for reports so they can be published on the webpage, as we don't have a newsletter. Aside from this our other biggest issues lies in burnout. I think this is mostly due to having done a lot of work trying to show people we were still out there, but not having a lot of people to do it. I think the remedy to this lies in being able to recruit people in our own area. Very few of our members actually live in the Barry and Calhoun County areas of Michigan right now. And the Sca members in this area tend to already be aligned with Three Hills, and Westmere. Although we did have an issue with a member of Three Walls who did a lot of recruitment through 4H for Three Walls. 9. Comments: All in all I dont think it has been a bad quarter. We have had some shake ups and I think a lot of it is just plain due to burnout. We go into the last part of the year with some good hopes that we can save the canton. It is foundering and we recognise that, but hopefully with somenew blood, and better advertising and perhaps more A&S related activities in our area, we can make a good hard run of things.
