Youth Activities

All Youth Activities except for Marshal Activities will be in the A&S Hall (Auditorium) just inside the main door to the right.

Time	Activity		Description
10am-11am	"The Beaten Heart	with Lady Morgan	Youth can bend copper wire into a heart shape that can then be pounded on an anvil. These will then be strung for necklaces or used with a wooden pin for cloak pins.
11am-12pm	The Painted Heart	with Lady Morgan	will paint cookies and rice wraps with food coloring and icing to create edible Valentines.
12pm-1pm	Break for lunch
1pm-2pm	;Paper Boquet	with Lady Morgan	Youth will make tissue paper flowers.
2pm-3pm	Heart in a Bag	with Lady Morgan	Youth will make felt or fabric bags in heart shapes.
3pm-4pm	Mini Game Competition	with Lady Morgan	Youth will learn about ancient board games and play them to win prizes.
Back-up Activities Valentines cards, face painting, bardic dice.

Youth “TOC”: Members of the chivalry are invited to spar with, observe, and instruct the next generation of SCA fighters. Those who are authorized youth marshals are asked to come in armor and spar with the youth fighters (boffer weapons provided). Others may come, in or out of armor, to coach and instruct. If you plan to participate, or have any questions, please contact THL Nyilas Kazmer for more information.

A Youth Marshal “fast-track” will be available. It is open to members of the chivalry and parents of youth combatants. Please contact the MiC prior to the event.

Limited loaner gear may be available, contact the MiC for more information.
