The Barony of White Waters
The Barony of White Waters is a chapter of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) a Not Profit international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the Middle Ages as idealized by modern minds. This includes areas such as the arts and crafts, costuming, and social customs, of the period from about 600 A.D. to about 1600 A.D. In addition to our local events, which include tournaments, feasts, and classes on period subjects, we also perform educational demonstrations. Our Barony encompasses the counties of St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshal, La Grange, and a few other outlying areas surrounding these counties within the Middle Kingdom of the SCA.
